The hanks of fiber arranged by color mesmerizes me, calling for me to bring them home, to see what I will create with them. I love how the yarn store is organized by color and wool textures. They challenge me, taunting me, begging me to turn the colorful skein into a one of a kind handcrafted creation. Well, I decided to make a top for myself with this colorful skein of yarn. The possibilities are endless for a yarn enthusiast, the skein could become an afghan, a sweater, socks or hats etc …

The best thing about this pattern is its very easy and you can crochet a top in any size without being a pro in crochet. The quantity of yarn required will increase as per the size. For a Small size I have used about 200 gms, for Large size 50-80 gms extra might be needed. You can start making this with just the bust measurement.

This is a crochet top with peek a boo sleeves. You can stitch it completely if you want a regular sleeves. Cotton yarn can be used instead of wool. Follow this pattern to make a crop top or regular top.

Materials Required – 5 mm Crochet Hook, 2 Ply Wool about 200 gms for Small to Medium Size.

Stitches Used – Slip Stitch, Chain Stitch, Double Crochet.
