Saree Kuchu is trending off late, and due to high demand new designs are getting added to our collection every now and then. People want something new every time and we are glad to surprise them each time. Here is one such design which is very simple and yet elegant.
While working this design it is very important to choose the right kind of beads and needle. Beads need to have a slightly big hole and the needle should be appropriate. If the needle you are using is very thick with a big eye then you might find it difficult for the beads to pass through the needle.
Usually, we take 100 to 120 strands of silk thread for tassels or kuchu, but because we are using beads its impossible to use so many strands, and hence the number of strands you take will depend upon the size of the hole beads have. If you are working single color kuchu then you can take up to 80 strands, for a double color you can take 40 strands in each color or take just a few strands of one color and more strands of the main color like shown in the video. Gold or silver zari can be used to tie kuchu.
