Juju Scarf

Juju Scarf – My Latest try

Ola! I am so much in love with this Juju scarf I crafted recently. I love crocheting but whenever I have started a big project it never got done so I generally don’t start projects like these. They will just sit there in wip and remain there forever and that for sure gives me heartache. I have been so busy all my life, while I was working, the office kept me busy and after I quit my job I got even busy :P.

But now I have made up my mind to do what makes me and my soul happy. Feed your soul with everything it deserves, and never depend on others to make you happy. Being happy is our own choice and it is absolutely in our own hands.

Crochet gives me a sense of satisfaction to my soul. I swear crochet keeps up my sanity, I can’t imagine what I would do if I had not known how to Crochet. Crochet is the closest thing to my heart because it kept me from falling apart in my darkest times. There was a time in my life I would never want to visit, that is when I started crocheting and it helped me stay mentally healthy for sure.

I recently finished this Juju Scarf. It is a very interesting pattern, I chose this color because I love violets and purple. Probably this is the first crochet project I finished within a month :P, and I happily admit it. Do you guys like the pattern? Then buy this pattern on Ravelry.com and do it yourself.

I used Anchor AKC 4060, almost 4 balls of yarn. This Scarf can be worked with any fingering weight Yarn as the pattern suggests. Check out the links below to buy related products. The design is unique because of the stitch that is called a half-filled square stitch along with picots.

Adding a tassel was not mandatory, but I chose to add them with wooden beads. It is a triangle scarf and looks very trendy with a cool Tee and a pair of Jean.

I am a self-taught crocheter and not a Pro at all. Working this Juju Scarf was a good learning experience for me, as I learned stitches that I had never tried before. I am super happy with this scarf and am definitely going to flaunt it :).
