Ola !!! This video will actually surprise you guys, so watch till the end now. I love boat neck blouses and while was trying to design this blouse I got this thought of trying a crocheted patchwork. The saree has round gold zari buttas and I think this crochet patch is a perfect match. We all know about the beautifully crocheted doilies, don’t we ?? So I worked this doily pattern using 2 completely contrast colors in silk thread and then hand-stitched it to the blouse. Sounds interesting, isn’t it…
Few things to be kept in mind before adding a crochet patch to the blouse, the round opening has to be finished with dori piping by the tailor, for neat finishing. The patch needs to be hand-stitched and avoid using a sewing machine to stitch.
I have used silk threads, but if you want to work a Doily you can use Anchor Cotton Yarn and suitable hook size. Kamal Kadai thread can also be a good choice for this. I hope you enjoy working on this pattern following my video below.
